A more shallow DOF and a little more breathing room might help here. It looks like a wider angle would introduce some unfavorable background elements, but it feels kind of cramped. Maybe bring up the shadows just a bit. All in all, I think it's a pretty good shot.

Difficult shot with the light coming from that angle. Colours appear to be too saturated for my taste, and possibly adds to the overly contrasty appearance.
