I think you should have done better in the ratings. I love it.

Very eerie looking to me but a nice shot. Very simple and to the point. 7

Really, Infrared? Lose a point for the title. I don't like being led by the nose...

a bit too extreme whites....but a very nice idea. I'm a big fan of different viewpoint/angle.....which is something this image suffers from not having. Simple task like lowering the camera a few feet down would've created a much more interesting angle, in my opinion. 6

I think the choice of IR really makes this stand out.

very good entry. wonder when the dpcers, like with woody, will start 'retaliating against this style...'-)

This is an interesting image, but I prefer color to infrared - it just looks too unreal. Very good find for 'Leading Lines'...the viewer is led thru the image quite smoothly.

it's a stunning image, but i am getting bothered by it, due to the fact that an ir image won a ribbon last time around. oh well. 8

The contrast of the field and lower part of the walk way seem a little "gray"...same for the row of trees in the distance...they look a little over burnt? The blue of the sky is quite beautiful...rich and deep.

I've always disliked infrared photographs; I could never see the point. After seeing this, now I can. It is the most specific and sympathetic exploitation of this portion of the spectrum that I have seen. The fact that it is also a very fine composition as well as an effective demonstration of Leading Lines makes me admire it even more. 8. (P.S. I still don't like IR nearly as much as visible).
