1984 Minolta X-700. First 'studio' style shot I've done in a while and hopeing to get a little feedback. Very last minute, and no canned air, so we'll see what happens!

Either way it was fun to set up the shot.

I used a Desat Adjustment layer, and desaturated everything except a part of the red channel to keep some color in the lens. Theres a couple other reds in the picture but hopefully nobody will notice!

I used to love my X-700! I still have it. But there wasnt a whole lot of metal on it. 5.

This picture just didn't do anything for me. Was looking for something that showed the texture or lines or other characteristics of metal.

And here I thought I had one of the last ones still around. Go figure someone here would have one too. :) As an image, the DOF, POV, crop are all good. Meets challenge. Only thing left - emotional impact. And that is opinion - mine in this case. Honestly, the image is static. Nothing happening, no I don't know. i get no sense of the subject of the image - this image gives the camera no character. Its just a picture - does that make sense? 6 from me - good luck in the challenge!
