Placement of your main subject is ok though it blends into the far too distracting background. Less depth of field might of helped.

Wish it wasn't quite so bright, but a good, non-standard interpretation.

what a sad and tragic reality to capture. I wish the items in the cart didn't blend in with the bushes as much as they do, the background is too busy to keep the focus on the shopping cart and really communicate your message.

a hard image to look at emotionally. I admire you for submitting such a meaningful photo,
The composition is very expressive - the cart pushed to the corner of the photo by by an overgrowth of unfriendly-looking bushes. It is a bit busy, but that is thematic too - you almost don't see the cart in the jumble of leaves - and don't we all "not see" the homeless who are right in front of us, lost from but also in the system.

weird but it work

I think this would have been better in color -- as it stands now it is far too busy for B&W. There's just not enough contrast between your subject and background. 5

I chose to have a closer look at this pic based on the caption. It does convey a story, but I am not sure if B/W was of any benefit, a closer crop may have worked better.
