I love this image!! It's so nice, not only should it have placed higher, it should have won first place. I like it more than the ribboners!!

It's plain and uninspired, I admit, but it only took me about 5min. just before challenge deadline.
The background is an anti-glare textured glass plate on a piece of black posterboard.
I used the same glass plate in my pain entry.
Lighting was provided by my 17" CRT display with the iTunes visualizer on and There's no other way by Blur playing.

Very much a good stock-type shot, especially if you clone out the '17'. Technically this is a good shot, but it doesn't do much else for me personally. Granted, I'm just one person. Perhaps a more angled presentation of the wrench would be more dynamic, but I'm not sure that's what is missing for me. Sorry I couldn't be more help than this.

Fabulous composition. I LOVE the background texture with the coordinated colors. The image is so smooth and flawless. One of my favorite images on the whole site. GREAT LIGHTING. Please give us some details about this shot, like how you lit the scene, postprocessing etc.

All I can say is, I love it.
