Wonderful image - train stations never grow old to me and this image is great.

I love the composition and the orange. Almost looks like a Moroccan doorway, the shape of the hole in the frame of the photo.

congrats on top 20, absolutely beautiful foreground lighting. Would have been excellent for leading lines as well.

Peter: congratulations on your top 20 finish with this dynamic light and dark composition.

excellent indeed. love that shadow line and the harsh contrast it produced between the outside and inside of the tunnel. really frames the shot well. i hope there wasn't another train entering the station as you took it.

I like this. Very interesting composition, color and contrast. I like the industrial look. It's too bad the left and right glass area (3rd way down) isn't symmetrical but it doesn't appear that you had much control on that - maybe shifting your position a smidge to the right. Well done

Upper part of the tunnel is so close to the edge. Some more space would balance the composition.

I like the energy and the anticipation in this photograph. One expects a second train to come out of the mist directly toward the camera on that right track at any second. The electrical lines add to that energy and to the contrast between frenetic top and serene bottom portions of this image. The light and dark balance is on the money as well. Centering works so good when all is in balance and a payoff is suggested at the core.... as is here. 9.

nice shot. The tracks shine, and the contrast of the orange really make this a unique shot.

The tracks are interesting. So much to look at, so little to focus on.

Wow factor/uniqueness=

Colors seem a little muted but it appears you may have been looking into fog too, wonder if a curve adjustment would help any. I like the straight down the tracks and out the tunnel perspective you got.

Good luck

Neat shot but suffers from being a little over bright or lack of contrast

the tracks curve on the bottom of the photo tells me you didnt stood on the train tracks to get this photo... phew! i like this photo but note the slight rotation.

Great photo, crop a few inches off the bottom and you're standing on the tracks.

This is great! I love it, the leading rails with the light on them, the train, the composition and movement from darkness into the light..It's something I would hang on my wall..

Not sure what i am supposed to imagine life without - the train? the metal? the electricity? Same shot, different title, much stronger (I don't deduct for titles). I like the shot, a lot going on but still a strong focus point remains. Nice work.

Nice colour, symettry and use of a single vanishing point. The curve at the start really helps to sweep the eye into the picture.

Nice silhouette above the diminishing perspective.
Overly big words aside, this is a very nice shot. A little off center though.

Nicely composed, and a good idea! But metal here is in the idea, and not that much in the picture... And it's not really eye-catching. But nice :) And I love the name :)
