excellent POV. Great DOF. Composition works for me. I might like it a little better in B&W. 8 from me - good luck in the challenge!

Interesting angle, and the tilted horizon adds just that little extra punch. Fun shot - 9.

Love it!

This is a striking angle...but if only the edge of the bottom leg wasn't cut off. It works against the strength of the photo.

Great original concept... I'm amazed the benches have actually been put down so well in line!
06/25/2005 04:25:21 PM
I wonder how the shot would have looked if you had been able to crop out all but the very circular centers of the benches. It is a great abstraction.

great find. must've been crawling around the park to find this one! makes me a little dizzy.

I'm sure this will do well. Looks like the benches go on forever. The tilted camera angle is a nice touch.

Could that waterfron be the Hudson? Nice use of geometric shapes.
06/23/2005 10:02:33 AM
Nice perspective, but I would have rotated the image to set the bench upright.

Very good idea. It feels as if the bench is going to slide off to the left! Maybe it would help if ht epicture wer rotated to get the trees vertical...

I like the composition. Quite imaginative.

I truly think you should've leveled the street. Though the concept is very nice, it's giving me a headache to look at it, because it's just too much. That's the reason I rate it a 4.

VERY neat pespective. Nice eye.

Like how you captured the circle shapes...it's spot on for me.
06/22/2005 04:26:17 PM
This is super cool
06/22/2005 03:48:55 PM
Wonderful that you would see this shot, it just seems kind of stiff.
06/22/2005 02:41:06 PM
Nice angle. I like the way the rings go on and on. As far as the eye can see. The rows of trees and the two tone brick work really add to the feel. All comes together quite nicely.

Nice effect! Wouldn't have tilted the bench, though.
