I feel the composition is not very good. And I'd like to hear your advices - what would be nice to change here?

Post-processing: just increasing brightness (I guess I should have make exposure compensation - could avoid post-processing at all, having more experience. But it's my first submission)

I hope this helps a wee bit- sorry if that was harsh.

Your critique is fair, it wasn't harsh :) About size of chisel... I guess I just wasn't honest enough in this shot - I used this chisel in other places and here I just handles it to show more metal :) And.. I was punished for this lie :) It really looks some weird... :(

But I will show you the final result - hope, it looks more promising, than on this shot (it's my first wood work).

Thanks for opinion.

Interesting shot. The highlights under the hand seem a little overexposed to me.

I would have liked to see this photo taken with a softer, more even light.

Doesnt scream "metal" to me like I think a challenge should. Nice though. To me it says 'wood'

Even as a woodworker, this photo doesn't say anything to me. I can't put my finger on what's missing. Photographically, it could do with more interesting lighting (more focused light), or even just a bit more contrast.
