Tacked backdrop on ceiling. Placed mirror on table underneath and used one strobe with red filter. Poured lighter fluid on mirror lit the mixture and caught my reflection with flames. The result a "B" image. These images can be done better but I insist on doing the self portraits totally alone and there are many steps that make the operation cumbersome. I placed the strobe on floor for the angled light and employed a wide angle to get the biggest bang with dof because here the fire is on the surface of the mirror and my reflection is my distance doubled my actual placement.

Should have known this was you! One of my favorites in the challenge. Wow it would be fun to see you at work, amazing stuff..and how do you get the focus in the eyes so perfect? I have so much left to learn...

Bet you had fun with this one. :)

Nice fire capture and a horrifying (perhaps you? LOL) devil. Lighting and color work well. The positioning of the head and the way you framed this makes for a nice composition.

The fingers look a little funky but overall this is a good picture. Now, to get someone "lighted", do you have to be physically present and do you take VISA?

Nicely done, with a nice red tone to the face. I like the negative space and the flames are very pretty. There's something that doesn't work for me completely, and I think it might be the makeup/mask. I think that the point would have been made without the costume at all, and might have been more powerful that way. Nonetheless, great job. 8
