 This fox crossed the road about 100 yards in front of me on my way to the top of the hill in Harpers Ferry where I shot my Cemetary entry. I turned off the engine and waited patiently while he worked his way to a position down hill from me where I had a decent shot. Then he paused and looked at me, almost posing, for about a dozen shots. The very first photos with my recently acquired 300mm f4 L.

How did I miss this one?? I love the moment in time of this. You get a great image of an animal in the wild and it's like a little treasure. Indeed this is one. Too bad there was that one dry twig in the foreground, but in actuality, that really just adds to the natural feel!

Very nice capture except for that one fuzzy twig in the foreground. Nice natural light.
