 Saw this hawk morning after the graduation party (wasn't tired, yet, so went out on a sunrise photoshoot). I must have spooked it, because it took off almost as soon as I saw it. This is right after it took off, but then it circled me, swooped down and picked something off the sand and flew off. I was so amazed at its flight that this is the only good shot I got. The others were either blurry or composition plain sucked, but I was happy I got this one.

I didn't submit it for two reasons - one: I don't like entering pictures with Haystack Rock it it very often anymore (too many, "not this again" comments), and two: I think I got a better shot then this one during the week.

Very well done. Not too bad for a shot done "the day after." LOL
