"I AM BELLA LUNA...FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T HABLA ESPANOL, BELLA LUNA IS SPANISH FOR...BELLA LUNA!" - a take off on Chris Farley's genius "el nino"
Bella Luna is actually spanish for Beautiful Moon.

This was taken after the Oregon DPC GTG. That night, though. Most of the DPCers had left, actually, only my brother, Ryan (Nova Tiger), and I were left on the beach. I stopped for a few minutes to try some shots of the moon over the needles, and this is what came out.

Editing: Rotate (3 degrees off!), Brighness and Contrast, Curves, Color Balance and then actually decided it looked better in BW =), Curves again, size, usm.

I knew this was one of the ORians!
This is such a nice shot. I tried to get some moon ones, but they didn't turn out too wonderfully (is that a word?).
Yeah, anyways...I like it!

Nice.
Lots of nice grainy detail, I'm sure, on the full-blown version.

Strong emotion. Nice concept. However, there is so much out of focus that I didn't stay with it long.

Good emotion. I could use more detail in the clouds, though I understand if you were going for the effect.

Ok... I recognize the area this is shot in... and I love the area. However here, it was shot at night, so you had to slow down the shutter but in doing so you ended up letting the clouds blur from movement yet the moon and rocks are in sharp focus. Perhaps you wanted this, but I'm not sure if this conflict is ideal.

Very nice, I like the desaturated look and the sky/clouds. I'm not quite sure it needed to be quite as dark (even for this challenge).

Appears to be another view of the Oregon Coast from the Oregon GTG.

This works well as B&W and the moon is not terribly overexposed like it normally gets in images like this. Looks like the exposure time was long enough to pick up a little cloud motion. Tones are generally good.

I recognize the rocks! Could this be one of our Oregonians?

Very ghostly. I'm not sure why. But I think I would like it better without the moon. I think it would enhace the moon. B/W really works well

The moon is distracting and take away from the impact of this image. Great shot though I love the contrast in the clouds and the depth they provide. Glad to see the use of thirds with the formations on the left.

That's a beautiful night scene. I particularly like the understated presence of La Belle Luna. 7.
