 Fire Ants make lousy pets.

When taking pictures of these little guys be prepared to have them crawling all over you in a few seconds. They think human flesh tastes just like chicken.

OUCH!!!! I got attacked a couple of weeks ago and had 13 bites! They are so nasty. They bite AND sting....both!! Good shot here. Better than the one I captured.

the focus on the ants seems soft - you might have tried getting even closer to the subjects.

The color isn't doint much for you here. Probably would have more impact as a high-contrast B/W image - lots of nice texture to work with. I like that you've included behavior and habitat in the image. Nice work.

Good fauna shot, the border doesn't seem to fit in though. The color clashes.
