I went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography to see an exhibition of Yukio Tabuchi's work. I thought the famous "Kiss" photo would be a good subject with the bicycle in front of it as it was. I had just got my camera ready when I saw the woman approaching, so it was really a quickly taken shot. (I did take one with the bicycle only, better composed, but this one had more impact, I think.)
great shot! I like the lady's expression and use of her and bike for a sense of scale as benhur observed....also, it is interesting because the backgound photo is b&w, as is the building, so the woman and bike add a little splash of color and interest.
Very nice capture. Only suggestion would be to crop out the right upper corner, where the wall changes tone and texture. Perhaps realign the horizon as well, slightly.
