colorful and a head shot and there the interest stops, this challenge suject is popular and the standard high. however I like the shape of the head and neck. 5

Great DOF comp and negative space. A little over exposure on the back of the head and lower neck is the only distractions

great focus and colors. like how the exposure is good enough to see the teeth. wish his head wasn't so close to the top of the frame

I just love flamongos. Must have said that about a milion times before, but I think they are just marvelous birds. And your catch is no exception.
It's beautiful, bright colors, wonderful bokeh, great details, good composition within the frame.
Perhaps the only thing I would suggest is a little bit of burn on that blown out light on the bird's head. but to be honest? I'm not sure it's really a distraction for me.
I love it as it is.
