 I went a few places around College Station, before I remembered this one building being built west of town. Drove out there, and the sun was setting, casting the pink reflections on the clouds. Not sure how this will do, but it got me out there shooting something I normally wouldn't, and that's what I like!

Subject matter is spot on, looks really interesting, and the sunset looks good as well....but I think your post processing has really hurt your chances! The Haloing is really bad around the lampost and crane, and the noise has been amplifed in the sky. "shadows & highlights"? Good luck in future challenges, you obviously have an eye for it.

The lamp post is so distracting! Definately worth going back and standing in front of it next time. Also there seems to be a white band surounding the post (although that may just be my monitor) - did you use a lot of USM? Without the post and USM it'd be a 7, but as it is a 5.

lovely view. Could do without the light pole. very distracting... sunset light was in itself very promising.
