I was hoping you'd win, I gave it a 10... looks like you did well.

I thought dandelions had a mind of their own?? :)

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with a decision. Zip, zero, zilch, nada- WWYT?

...and straight into my favorites it goes. ;-)

There's a wistfulness about this image that I love. Technically pretty good. The focus is not exact - maybe one stop smaller would fix that. Decision? no clue. Honestly don't believe a plant can make a decision. However, if I ignore the title (or my take on it) the decision was to blow the seeds away. Which works for me! Love the lighting - greatly enhances the image. 8 for now, may bump later... Good luck in the challenge!

Takes a little imagination to see a decision, but I like it.

Nice shot. I get the "let the wind decide" idea but I imagine the theme police are killing you. Great comp and clarity

Technically and artistically a strong image that could become a wall hanging. That said, a dandelion has no thought process and I find it hard to personify a flower in the manner you are trying to promote the image on. Without the title, this would be keyworded with flower, white, dandelion, seed, floating, but not decision. Strong interest, artistic approach, great detail in a macro with a moving secondary object, but I cannot place this in the ranks of the images that invoked the story of the decision. I can only offer a 4.

Great shot. But although I can't see any dicision I will not rate this shot low because this is a wonderful shot, well composed, sharp with great lighting and good use of DOF. Excellent.

I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. However, I like the title you gave it, it symbolizes what is going on. This is an exception in my scoring, i'd normally give this a five or a four, but the title means so much to me. This photo was scored like a painting ( you created the meaning and the image ). I love this picture! I absolutely love it.

I guess I get the decision, but that isn't really that imporant for this challenge I don't think. I love the shot though, not sure why, maybe the contrastiness, the clarity, or the recognition of something we all have seen. Well taken!

The lighting is very nice, and the sharpness of the stem is nice, but, most of the photo is not as sharp as I'd like. Also, in my opinion, this does not meet the challenge.

Interesting conceptual piece, you've found an abstract (and beautiful) way to capture a classic decision which would otherwise be impossible to capture using conventional human subjects. I like this, although some people are going to (erroneously, in my opinion) mark it down for not adhering to the challenge and being, "just another dandelion shot," I like this... One of my few 10s in this challenge. Good luck with a tough crowd ;)

I'm not sure if the 'decision' is clear, but the shot sure is... I understand the concept and love the shot.. Closer to a 'decision' than most i've gone through so far. 7

GREAT shot....but not obvious decision based on the photo. Very reliant on the title only.
