 I took about one hundred shots trying to get these bugs to cooperate. They make terrible models. Eventually I got what I was looking for. The snail was a much better model, and consequently he wasn't glued to the surface after frequent failed attempts (This shot was taken pre-glue). BTW I dont like to use B+W but roly-pollies don't have to much to offer in the way of color.

Nice image. Simple white background was definitely the way to go. If the bugs don't cooperate, throw them in the fridge. Just pull the one you want to move out a little earlier.

I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. The title helps me understand your thought process. Good show.

What a clean crisp image. Very nice illustration of a decision (to go your own way). I might have preferred to see a different framing where the roly poly bug making the decision is in the center of the frame and the others in a line more on one side, but it's lovely the way it is.

Having a hard time with the whole bug making a decision thing, and for a shot this close, your focus should be dead on. I loved your Grocery list shot though.
