Ahhh, you left the decision for me to make. Well...I'll take the cake first and then the apple, ok? I think I'm going to enjoy them both. 7

Just have 'em both! ;-)

Post-processing has done some interesting things to the colors, especially on the apple. Was there originally not enough light? Decent composition, esp. with the grainy stuff (sugar?) leading in.

out of focus, shadow, seem in the background. try to find a black cloth or something bendable so that you have one uniform background, not two boards adjacent to eachother

I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. It also suffers from a bit of bad noise and blown out highlights. A wonderful attempt none the less. Good show.

That would be a healthy or unhealthy decision. The colors look oversaturated. No points deducted for spelling errors.

Yes. This is a good one. Dark part is not great.

Looks like quite a bit of noise in the apple....which makes me think you used a very high ISO. Now.....this wasnt necessary because you could have used a tripod because your subjects were not in motion. Good idea for decison.....pretty good composiition, but poor as far as imagage quality. 5
