An image of the water flowing into nature. A nicely composed and cropped concept with good shadows and lighting that is interesting, but without it's title, I would not have thought to add a keyword of decision to this image. The link is there only from the caption and this is not enough. I cannot critique the image as it stands out with finesse and would even interest some to have as a wall hanging, but I cannot place this high against the entries that better told me a story or invoked the sense of decision. I offer a 4 on technical alone.
It was hard for me to connect this photo with a decision. The title makes a connection, but without it there is no indication that there is a decision. Maybe a person peering around the bend in the river, or crossing the river would have been a nice touch.
