I hope for my third challenge I don't get too much critisism for shallow DOF because I really wanted to convey something like the viewer making a decision. It's more about the proposal than the man- but of course you need a man for the story...

The perspective and DOF of this image is great. Color is good and there are no overexposed areas. Very touching image that should finish near the top in voting.

One of my ideas. dof works well but possibly too much blur. The guy should look happy as the ring has been accepted. makes it less convincing.

That look. Was it the message?

I like this concept. I feel like the woman's hand is cropped in a strange place. It might be nice to see more of her hand. Also the slightly out of focus man is all right, but his expresson is not working for me. He almost looks afraid. Unless he is about to change his mind you expect him to look happy.

i would've cropped the photo down to just the hands. The blurry man makes me think that the woman must be drunk (if we're looking through her eyes)

His hand in the pocket is so against this shot. Better it were in view as a metaphor for his openess.

No offense intended but if I may be honest this is a poor choice of DOF. Either it should be shallower and keep tha man a big blur or deeper and include the man in the focus. As it is he is irritatingly out of focus and he draws way too much attention relative to the hand and the ring. Anyway, I don´t dislike this shot at all, think it´s pretty good but for me personally the DOF doens´t work here, just my opinion though.
