The biggest challenge to this challenge was finding a glass-bottomed container big enough to bob for apples. My 8-year-old son was more than happy to "model" for this one.

Before I explained to him what we were doing, I turned around to find him eating the best apple. So apple #2 had to step in at the last minute for the shoot.

I was surprised at how clear the water was. When the bubbles settled, you could not tell the image was taken from under water, so I had to be quick on the shutter when he dunked his head in to get some of the bubbles.

Post processing included removing couple of dust spots, and resizing it.

If I was gonna enter this challenge, and I didn't, btw. I had 2 ideas in mind, one was either to try to shoot an apple with a bow, and try to capture the arrow entering/exiting the apple, and my second Idea was "bobbing" and Im so glad someone attempted it, Nice work-

I like this on many different levels. It is creative, fun, technically advanced and that kid is just the perfect bobber! His freckles make this so classic that one cannot help but smile warmly when looking at this. Only way to make this better is if those trees on the left were replaced by other party-goer's faces watching the action with joyful smiles. One of my top ten in this challenge.

more distortion on the left would make this easier for my eye to read, I really really like it though!

Great angle and perspective. One bubble near the right eye makes it appear as if the model was crying, but that's a small nitpick. Scoring high.
