Taken around 6 PM on a slightly hazy day. Despite being at ISO 400, noise is low - here I have the opportunity to appreciate the superior power of the Rebel XT compared to my Sony camera.

Taken with the Sigma 70-300mm, which is rapidly becoming my default lens. For most purposes, I don't miss the wider FOV; there are definitely some shots that I see that I just can't take with it, but I like how the long lens forces me to focus on a particular part of the scenery.

Processing: Levels adjustment (master + slight change to blues), lots of burning, very little dodging (though perhaps it could use some), and a bit of a gaussian blur for that nice dreamy effect.

I really enjoy how you capture a simple scene and add drama to it with the PP, well done
