 A take on the Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte's Son of Man. Shot in my balcony with Lake Michigan in the background. Set up was easy, just cored the apple to accomodate the flowers. I then skewered it with a bamboo stick, bit on the stick to steady it on my face. Posed in front of the camera on auto and flash and took the shoot with the timer on. Shot in raw, WB adjusted, color adjusted, resize and USM before saving.

The little white wall bothers my eye, but over all this is very nicely done. Good colors.

hmmm very cute. it looks like a painting I have a vague recollection of. simple background, relistic subject, slighly odd subject. I like.
