this is a great photo - looking at it though i wonder if the lack of wrinkles in the shirt might make it smoother, and more powerful.

Creative idea. I like it very much. I also like the glowy look behind the model. Works.

Here is how we rate a photo: to be a 9 it must meet the challenge ("this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element"), be a GREAT shot, and evoke emotion. A 10 does all that AND is an original idea. So....can clearly see the triangles (even without the title), it's a fantastic silhouette, and her stance is so powerful that you can almost read the expression on her face. I look at this and see obstinate pride, defensiveness, anger AND insercurity, sorrow and a begging for compromise - which makes the title speak even more to me. And it's the only photo like it in the challenge. 10! Good luck!

This is one of my favorites! I had tried something like this but it didn't work for me - the choice to go with a black & white silhouette is what makes this work. Congrats!

Nice silhouette too :) I like the way you have backlit just the triangles. Good fit for the challenge.

I find the slight tinges of light/color around her head distracting. I love the shot though, 8.

Nice clean, simple image.

BTW, you could use this same shot for Silhouettes II .... :)

Your friend has a pointy nose too....At the expense of her self conciousness I would have emphasized that more, with your ability to use silhouttes I bet you could pull it off. Getting a date afterwords might be a different story.
