Just saw this sunset yesterday 05/09/05 and thought of the challenge. I didn't have time to get the UV Filter on so I will probably get slammed for overexposing. Oh well. At least I like it.

I know that the trees are silhouetted in the image, but the image composition puts much more emphasis on the setting sun rather than on the silhouette, which was the target of this challenge. Wicked sunset. Must have been awesome to witness.
I'd have cut the top 1/4 off. As is, the exact centring feels a bit too stable. I'm also left wondering how it would have been if the branches had been silhouetted against the sun a bit. That might have made the photo a bit more dynamic. 5
