I think a more interesting point of view would have made for a better photo. perhaps a macro down low, looking along it... getting more of a feel for the texture of the subject.

good idea of composition, it would have been great wi the full plate in the picture with a more fill in flash. good luck in the next photos

Looks delicious, is there anything in the bread?

The plate seems a little blown out on the left side. Still trying to decide if I like the crop or if it would have been better to have equal space on the top and bottom like you did on the left and right.

The lighting feels too harsh and the presentation in a colorful plate doesn't work as well for me. I think a softer light, clearer focus on the roti, and a "calmer" more subdued background would have been more effective here.
