 Spectacular colors of the midnight sky in Iceland. From glowing yellow, to orange purple and dark gray.

This picture was taken on a bright summer night on the top hill of Reykjavík, Vatnsendahæð.

In distance you can see the volcano Snæfellsjökull, once considered the entrance to hell. The foreground is a silhouette of Reykjavik.
