Ok - this was a disturbing experience. I need to remember not to do these shots (pun not intended) at 12:30am while still living at home and having to report to my parents. (Needless to say, they have no idea what I do while they sleep)...lol.
Anyway...I really wanted shot glasses that didn't have writing on them, but alas...the only ones I had were plastic. I tried it, me being the stupid person that I am, and obviously, they melted SO...onto my glass shot...glasses.
Tools: 1 metal cookie tray, 1 clean kitchen table, 5 shot glasses, 1/2 cup Cherry Schnapps (45% proof). I've tried Tequila before, but for some reason I can't get it to light.
I was going to light the liquor in the glasses too, but they wouldn't light, and I had limited time to experiment. Instead, I just lit the liquid on the tray.
I managed to get 3 shots off before one of my glasses shattered. That's right, SHATTERED!
This was the 3rd shot I took, there's very little post processing on it, (Shadows/Highlights, Contrast, cloning out scratch marks on tray, rotation) and I'm extremely proud of it.
Shot glasses used: Superbowl XXX (?) from my first year at college, "Farfromsober", Farfrompuken", "Farfrompoopen", and my "Stephanie" Bar glass...the one that shattered". Figures.
Hope you like. |
