1
IN midnight sleep, of many a face of anguish,
Of the look at first of the mortally wounded—of that indescribable look;
Of the dead on their backs, with arms extended wide,
I dream, I dream, I dream.
2
Of scenes of nature, fields and mountains;
Of skies, so beauteous after a storm—and at night the moon so unearthly bright,
Shining sweetly, shining down, where we dig the trenches and gather the heaps,
I dream, I dream, I dream.
3
Long, long have they pass’d—faces and trenches and fields;
Where through the carnage I moved with a callous composure—or away from the fallen,
Onward I sped at the time—But now of their forms at night,
I dream, I dream, I dream.

The soft focus and overall composition are good, but I dislike the 'I used NeatImage to scrub all of the details out' feel that this image has. |

This is really nice - has a nice, dreamy, surreal effect.
I cant lay my finger on exactly why - but I like it a lot.

Very good and dreamy shot, soft with beautiful colours. I like how the water leads the eye into the image. Well done! |

A very placid scene. I wonder if this would be even better with a bit of the frame cropped off at the top. |

This is my second go-around =) - I really like it... I think that it's a little too hazy... my eyes feel a little dizzy looking at it. However, great job! 8 |

feels out of focus, perhaps you were going for soft focus...but it didn't quite work with me...
On the flip side, i scrolled down to write the comment which essentially cropped this photo to just the lower half. When this happened it works much much better softened. Try just cropping the bottom and let me know what you think. |
