My first post on dpchallenge. Was a bit of a rush to get this on. I took this photo late at night on the south bank in london. It is a sculpture by salvidor dali. I thought the sky was so fitting for the subject. Light pollution to the max or what!

Erm... didn't mean to upset you, just offering what I hope is constructive advice. Enjoy the ride, and remember... if YOU like your shot that is far more valuable than any comments here on DPC.
Good luck with your future shots :-)

Bobster,

Yeah you are right. It was just a snapshot really. It was my first post on DP and felt a little annoyed at your post. But yes, certainly is just a snapshot(never to be repeated) my new tirangle one is quite a bit better.

cheers,

I did receive your pm after I left this comment, which should really have appeared here after the challenge. One of these days I'm going to change my preferences to anonymous commenting... Anyway, I didn't mean you should have taken a photo of something else, but that IMO you should have INCLUDED something else in this shot. You've taken a photo of something many of us at DPC have seen and composed it dead centre. What do YOU think raises this shot above a snapshot?

The contrast could stand to be improved, but the picture is nice.

Damn pitty about the line in the background, but I guess I'm not the first to point that out...
