Challenge: Dreams (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Sony DSC-F828
Location: my kitchen

Date Uploaded: May 2, 2005

I set up this scene on my cutting board in my kitchen and taped pictures of clouds on the back of a small bookshelf and put that up next to the cutting board. I took quite a few shots and decided on this one. The lighting I used was a desk lamp, and some natural light that was coming in through the window.
post processing..
-crop
-adjusted hue/saturation
-added a sepia photo filter
-cloned the clouds to make them run together and into the road
-added a gausiann blur layer and erased area's where I didnt want the blur
-resized

The idea is well thought out and executed, I think a little saturation on the petals would lift this image even more

I don't quite get this. Maybe too much post-process?

Great image
However
The shadows on the background from the flowers discourage the mood
Otherwise good job

A little dull and out of focus, maybe something other than flowers at the end of the train tracks....

Okay, this is wierd!
I like how this makes me think about what I'm seeing, though I feel I'm never going to figure it out. Photographically, the image is very soft with too many blown highlights, but it still leaves a positive impression.

The preciseness of this leading into the fuzzy areas make this a very special piece. Nice.

To me, the 'road' isn't distinct enough, although I like the concept.

Neat Idea, but the cloning needs perfecting. But then, its a dream so anything goes.

The colour scheme seems to work however there doesn't seem to be a connection between all the objects in the composition.

interesting concept for theme, please tell me that this is from an original manufacture of your pix, and not manufactured in post.
