This is not very creative, nor interesting. I have the impression that you just walked the streets and photographed the first thing you saw. 4.

I like the visual treatment, but somehow it fails to be moody enough. Maybe it's the composition or maybe it would work better if it was not so sharp... I would try softening the whole image to create more mood. This of course might be just a personal preference but it's the way I feel when I look at the image.

blown out light distracts from photgraphy at its simplistic joy.

A somewhat ordinary looking shot, marred by the blown highlights on the leaves. For a shot where you're going to convert to black and white anyway, you might try underexposing slightly, then dropping contrast and shadow values.

Nice, simple composition. I'd like a bit more contrast.

Funny this is the only 'park bench', you'd think there would of been more. ?? YOUR unique, and I like it. Really nicely done.

The black and white adds to the lonesome feeling here.

Great exposure. The only criticism I can come up with is to point out the small intrusion in the lower right corner (crack in the pavement?) Perhaps this could be cropped off. There's a real sense of atmosphere here.

this might have worked better with a person on the end of bench, and an overall crisper image.

Nice picture. Reminds me of the 1950's b/w sitcoms where everything looked perfect and clean. 8
