Great idea ... I would be great if the background was a little whiter, tho. I know it's hard with basic edting.

Brilliant placement of beans, I would spare the red one from eating after all its done to make such a great photo.

Photo meets the challenge and the idea is good. From a technical standpoint the lighting needs some work. I realize it's very hard to make a white background "white" especially under the basic rules, but when attempting this type of shot you really need to nail the lighting as it makes or breaks the photo. I obviously don’t know your setup but I have found when doing white shots a light source at the front, as well a. at the back of the background helps make the white brighter. You could also try it outside in daylight (noon) – the poor mans light studio.

I really like this one. The composition is perfect against a perfect background. Very appealing.

This is a good composition for minimalism. Some of the "outer" beans seem a little out of focus. A slightly longer depth of field might have helped with that.

It seems like it needs a background.
