Plenty of shells were on the beach but I was looking for a lone shell in the sand. The day was bright but I ended up getting the shell as the focal point of the image.

Coming back for comment, I do like this image a lot, it's always so nice to see natural movement of sand and the patterns are truly beautiful, nice touch with the shell, makes it all the more minimalist...
This is a very neat picture for this challenge. The bright gold shell against the gray sand definitely stands out in a strong way and gives it a minimalist feel.
