 Reviewing this quite a few years later:

Same layout, different generation of equipment. two monitors now and more stuff.
different chair (old one broke)
Still messy.
Still haven't got decent lighting.

It does seem kind of cozy. I think that warm light has a lot to do with it.

It doesn't look all that messy, just busy.
I actually think it looks cozy, yet very useful.
