Thanks macrothing, at the time of this shot I didn't know much about Photoshop so what I did was cropping and usm, that's all..

Wow. Nice capture - also of the 'contrasting subjects'. edit to add: 'if only' both 'popped' more against the background, fairly minor (and obviously natural anyway), but maybe softening in pp, or selective desaturation, tweaking of the colors, who knows.
