Beatiful child congratulations. But the picture could be better, both the focus and don't have so many disturbing things around (sweater, hand...) since this is a competition on minimalism.

very cute kid and a shot that you should keep in the family for a long time. You really captured emotion and a sence of innocence. Excellent shot, But its not for this challenge. Picture 10
challenge 3

Critique Club: 1. Lighting= Very Dim light, which people depict as gloomy ar dreery. A high key light will depict happieness. With a white background. You may not want to shine bright lites on a new born baby so wait until their slightly older.

2. Composition= You have captured a very nice scene, the crop could be a little tighter to the face of the baby. The hand on the face makes the shot. As if the baby were saying sheesh, what a crazy day. Time to get some sleep.

3. Focus= You can get sharper photos by haveing more light so you can use a faster shutterspeed, you can also use a tri-pod to eliminate camera shake, (but you do not always have time for that) as was with this picture.

Like I said before great shot, it could be sharper, but if this is your first challenge you will improve. If you need any other advice or help with your photos, feel free to PM me.

Of course there is no doubt this is a sweet little face. However, I don't think this is in the range of the challenge. It's mostly a portriat shot to me. Gosh, the hand on the cheek is so sweet.

This image is somewhat indistinct or blurry. The subject also takes up a large area of the photo, which goes against the contest guidelines. Cute little baby though!!!

Sorry. I do not believe this meets the challenge criteria.

Cute, but struggles to meet the challenge. Perhaps if one eye was open, and the title suggests that the eye was the focus. A little too blurry as well, for me. 2
