 My Grandson was over and I thought Iwould take a couple of shots. I did not think of the challenge until just a few moments ago.

GREAT photograph. It it was up to me you would ahve a ribbon. I have to admit, at times I get tired of people submitting pictures of babies. But this is so refreshingly different. The lighting is perfect, and the image is tack sharp. The expression on the baby is priceless!

I also like seeing the key light reflection in the babies eyes. I hope you do well. Adding this to my favorites. One of my few 10's of the challenge.

This one stands out among the child portraits. This is more than just a snapshot of a cute kid. It has excellent composition qualities as well as bringing out his personality. Good one.

Priceless expression! I wish the focus were a little bit sharper on the eyes.. also not sure if darkening the whole background some more so that the chair doesn't show wouldn't be a good idea.

Cute setup. The eyes are sharp. Very good for portrait photography. I'd like to score this higher, but the highlights are over exposed. I realize that in order to keep the shadows from being too dark, you had meter for them. Another solution is to add foam core or reflector on the shadow side to bring the dynamic range between the white and shadow within the stop range of your camera. Then you should be able to meter for the whites, and still maintain shadows. -danny
