i think this face is poor choice for this crop as there are too few features to focus on
on the other hand i doo like the eyes

Awwwwww! This is too precious! I would have LOVED to see this in colour, and maybe with just a tad more brightness, but the close crop is great for this shot, and the focus is excellent. Nice!

Interesting toning,and croping, I studied this shot for while,and tried to work out your apeture and decided it must have been wide open and centre balanced,by the blurring behind and on the shirt, Igave an 8 hope I got it right

The contrast seems a little low &/or the shot is slightly underexposed. A catchlight would have really helped to emphasize his eyes. As it is I can't see any clear boundary between his iris and pupil.
