 Shot of a mates son at breakfast on the Point. Shot has been cropped, colour adjusted and sharpened. That's about it - dime a dozen shot - but it's my first in this forum.

A higher shutter speed would have reduced your blur. The focus looks a little soft too.

my guess is the blur of the image is camera motion

Very cute candid shot. However I think we could have improved it a little more by doing the following; Sunny Days need to us a flash fill to give good contrast between the foreground and the background. This will eliminate the background being so over exposed. Bump up the shutter speed a little more, which in this case would have created a very sharp picture as it's a little blurred if you look at the eyes and especially the hands (in most photos you can get away from the hands being a bit blurred however eyes need to be sharp it's almost a requirement). Were all here to learn and this is must my observation, next time you never know it could be that magazine cover ;-) Good luck!

A good photo, but the overexposure of the background is a bit distracting

a bit out of focus... if possible I'd have turned the chair a bit so he wasn't backlit as much, I think that might have helped the focus
