Didn't get the shot I wanted for the time challenge, so thought I could try again with my idea for the macro challenge. Still not exactly what I wanted, but I like it.

Very nice picture. Great detail. Only gripe light a bit harsh in the upper right(top).

Good detail. I like the lighting in the lowerportion, but the top is too bright and out of balance. A diffuser might help.

The light at the top of the frame is too bright. I'm not sure if it was flash or not, but it looks like it. The rest of it looks okay except for the mallet being out of focus at the bottom. Good work

A little overexposed (from flash probably), but your creativity should be rewarded for thinking of this.

Nice, good light control on the metal. This is a good example of a macro but would of liked to see the focus on one area. Narrow it down, right now it's busy.

Interesting. Would suggest cropping off the left level with the dge of the plate (and extending on the right if you've got it). Feels unbalanced as it is.

Great focus, good sharpness too. I like the colour that you've captured. Looks like the hammer was starting to move towards the bell. I think the lighting was just a bit bright at the top of the photo.
