 I have 3 daughters, and they are my favorite subjects (other than my cat, but I missed that challenge!).

Brenna is my eldest at 12, and I think she is beautiful. I took about 15 pictures of her in all different situations, and this was my favorite.

Changed mode to B&W, burned out some of the background (had some smudges on the mirror), used dodge tool on her face to lighten some of the shadows, and on her eyes to try to lighten them up. Curves to adjust some of the dark and light.

I want to thank Pedro for submitted the tutorial on dodge and burn. I still have a lot to learn, but that really helped me out!

This is so nice. I love your idea of the mirror image. I think she will treasure this portrait always. Good work!!

It looks like the eye on the left image is more infocus than the eyes in the mirror image. I think I would have prefered it the other way around since you can see more of the eyes in the reflection. Interesting lighting and nice idea.

Nice lighting in this image, well done...don´t care for the frame though....model looks like she was bored, don´t take so much time! ;)
