Fits The Challenge-Yes, creative use of common objects.
Composition- Nice angle/view
Background- Not the best, caught the light.
My Opinion- I liked this and was blown away by the idea. Great thinking. The colors are really nice but again the background is a negative. Good work.

Great idea! Just crop that upper left corner a teeny bit to get rid of the distracting dark.

excellent use of depth of field...i bet you wish you would have saved this inspiration for the color challenge. anywya. the only problems i have are the background, which is uninteresting. black velvet would work nicely. there is too much grain suggesting either you oversaturated the colors or you didn't have enough light. and also that spot up in the corner. still a good photo, and one of the better definitions of a macro in the challenge

Very colorful. I would like to have seen more of the image in focus and a different background.

Good strong use of color. A black background would really make the colors sing. Good job.

Go figure.... next challenge is 'color'. Great color here. (In this particular shot, my preference would have been to have the tie-straps in focus thoughout the shot). I know..... half like it this way, half like it another way. Just can't win can we? It really is a matter of personal preference (I think).

These are some zip-strips with attitude. Remarkable color. nice idea. The setup is good but I don't really like the thing they are resting on. I think it'd have rocked if it were black.

Like the composition. Would work better if they were all sharp. And it needs the empty space in front of the first tie cropping out.
