Thanks a lot everyone. The comments were useful. As far as size of the photo goes I'm still figuring out this whole photography thing much LESS all the editing software thats out there. Give me time - I'll get better!

Would have liked this bigger. I don't think you needed to try to show the entire long side of the house.

Decent composition. At 366x298 pixels, this image is a bit on the small size and suspect it will suffer in a challenge.

Very nice capture, bt it would look much better full size. 7

There is little contrast (either in color or angle) to this image, so it feels a bit flat.

very nice shot, could be better with a stronger contrast, but I like it nevertheless.

too small

With the title of River Rat, I would have shown more of the river. The house is very interesting. I would suggest taking advantage of the 640 pixel limit for size. I'm really squinting to see the detail.

use the 640X the site lets you use, photos are more impactful larger sized

it looks so abandoned and lonely.

Why posting so small pictures?

I'm sure you will hear this several times... Image is too small :) Plus your picture could use a bit more contrast - seems kind of muddy.

Low contrast. Picture needed to be larger.

Way to small. Had it been bigger I'm sure it would have done nicely in this challenge.
