Woah! Looks cold and wet to me. Did you get dog drool on your lens? I like this one.

I love this picture! I looked all over my cats to find something symmetrical, but didn't even think of the nose, which is the most symmetrical thing on a face! Good observation and great photo!!!

Now this is what you call a macro shot. How did you get the dog to stay still, was he asleep? When i look at this pic it makes me lean back in my chair. Very good focus and lighting. 10 to you. Good luck.

I really like this photo very much. Have read that dogs' nose prints are the same as human fingerprints for identification. Comparison of texture of nose leather and surrounding hair is outstanding. Great symmetry!

Technically wonderful, perfect fit for the challenge, invokes just a dash of humor and a pinch of wonder at nature's beauty.
Great photo!

Gosh that's weird - how many times did you have to clean the lens? is this slightly over-enlarged though? Seems to have lost just that element of detail.

Terrific macro and perfect symmetry, but just not that appealing as a photo to me.. Did you try it in B&W? That's a clean dog nose! Didya have to wipe him down first?

I don't know why animal noses are so likable, but they are. This is no exception. Very nice. Could have done well in "indoor macro" challenge as well. Good job.

Nice maco! A perfect example of natural symmetry. How'd you keep the dog from licking the camera while you were shooting?

That is a stunning macro. The detail is brilliant, and it happens to meet the symmetry challenge perfectly. Great work.

Nice job, Mr. Shay! This should definitely do well. Great textures and sharpness! I'm curious to see how you kept the dog still long enough to do this!
