Symmetrical field and poles. Just appears like a snapshot. The focus is not tight enough

I like your idea here, but I think some editing work needs to be done to give this photo the focus to match the title. I copied the photo and put it in Photoshop and rotated it until the horizon was level and cropped out the lights in the background and as much of the people in the foreground as possible, and i I think the symmetry shows much better. Try it -- or let me know by e-mail and I'll send you what I did very quickly to balance the picture so that it doesn't have quite the same "snapshot" quality to it.

Why the heavy angle to this shot? I think that de-emphasizes the symmetry you have with this shot.

It's leaning to the left. Good idea though. Was this in the Phoenix area?

THis would look a lot better rotated slightly clockwise.

Might have moved over a few feet and lined the pitcher and catcher up with the center pole. The tilt to the right is distracting. Overall a great shot though.

good job, the symetry pulls the picture together.

Seems too static for exciting baseball.

Could you have gotten the pole in the middle aligned with the catcher and the pitcher? There is more picture on the left than the right. Is this Tides Stadium in Norfolk?

I'll bet the left fielder was busy on this day! I'm assuming that any balls that were hit would have rolled off to the left :)

picture would have been better if it wasnt slanted when you took it

This photo is suffering from some serious leaning issues which could be taken care of in editing (that kind is allowed).

Fits topic well but IMHO the tilt adds nothing to the photo and infact detracts from it.
