A ruined farmhouse originally built in the 17th century. I made quite a few shots here, which I will try to post later. I don't know how this is gonna do, as the weather and the light were horrible, and I had a hard time getting the colors where I wanted them. I like it better in B&W anyway.

Actually, since the Assyrians and Babylonians were using concrete before the Roman Empire was, and it doesn'tem to be a lost science, yes, I am certain they had concrete in the 17th Century.

It's not a valid point anyway, as there is no concrete in the picture. The farmhouse, like most of the structures erected since the mid 16th century in this country, is built of limestone blocks, and the gaps filled with a paste made from the same material. The age of the house is according to the local professional archaeologist whom we were working with.

Thank you for your interest, please do a small bit of research in the future before calling someones integrity into doubt, that is a very hurtful and serious accusation to level.

I like the lighting in this image....the focus seems a bit off...generally I don't like the proportions of images as presented here, but I really think you got them working for you because of the nature of the horizontal lines in your image.

The shadows are a little too dark. I think I would have also tried to make the plants in the foreground more in focus.

Great composition and use of natural lighting. Your choice for making it a B&W was a wise one in my opinion.
Well Done!

Ahhh...a stand out for inviting us into the abandoned space, unlike most of the photos in this challenge which look objectively from the outside. Great idea and execution.

This is a neat shot, i like the texture in the brick and the leaves. I can also tell this was an old farm building and it is so neat to see old stuff like this.
