Reading a couple of other comments reminds me of how important details are in planned shots. For example, I could tell how many members were way too young to remember the 70's ("clean" and "neat" were not characteristics of the hippie culture!)

You have a good eye - but need to be aware of those things we nitpickers find distracting. :-)

But, no matter how careful you are, there's always a sharp eye like Goodman, who noticed that those very new, very shiny shoes were on the wrong feet! Funny, man.

Immediate reaction was emotional. Then I looked at the wardrobe. All of a sudden, the young man didn't appear too abandoned. And with him using it, the building isn't completely abandoned either. In this case, for me, you almost did too good a job!

This is only one of maybe two pictures in the challenge where it works with the person in the picture, love the angst and "gloom" plus nice sharpness and texture. I'm also quite drawn to the color. Nicely done.

Nice artistic interpretation on this challenge.
There is beauty in what society calls an eyesore.
Well Done!

I would have liked this more if the person matched the concept better. This person looks well kept and appears to have nice shoes and a new jacket on. The whole concept of abandoned would be stronger if the person looked "abandoned" as well.

I like how you decided to put someone in your photo. Gives it a different twist than the rest. Nice photo.

Not really sure about how the person has been captured here, but the surroundings are totally awesome. There's a very rich quality to this image. I love the way his jacket and shoes have come out. It's only facial expression that I am a bit unsure about. Overall, good job.

I like this image...it seems to be very green and I have to be honest I'm not sure how to fix that. (black jacket and shoes have excessive green on them) Dark areas are a little bogged down.. 5
