too bad it's so small. It looks like it could have been a very good image with more size and bit more focus.

Why is the picture so small? Makes it very difficult to judge properly.

This photograph is too small for me to see much detail in the abandoned building. Like this in b&w.

You should try to keep your pictures close to the size limit of 640 by 640 pixels (like most of the other shots in this challenge).
I see you have probably kept the size down for the reason that this picture is not in focus. I'd say you should have gone back to the same spot for a reshoot if that were the the case.

looks interesting.. by now you've probably read all the "too small and cropping error" comments. Nice angle and comp. I've yet to see a small photo do well.

Very small and appears to be blurry.

First off, it's really helpful if the picture is BIG. Too difficult to make out much detail. Also, there is a significant lack of focus. The white edge on the left side needs to be cropped out. To the PLUS side: The contrast is good and the exposure looks right on.

this image is too small to do the subject justice. I can't really see the detail you captured. The tones look nice.

Now I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but go to “Learn” located in the blue bar on the top of the page and in the drop down window click on “Tutorials”. Almost all the way down that page under DPChallenge read the “Using Photoshop to Prepare Photos for DPC Challenges”. This will help you size your photos better. I think the photo is probably pretty good but just too small to see.
Again, please don’t take this the wrong way, I am only trying to help.

too small and out of focus
04/14/2005 02:01:14 AM
Size problems and focus is off. White line along left border is distracting. Apart from these minor details, the subject looks interesting.

This is a very difficult image to see. It looks blurry to me and is very small!

Picture is too small to see any detail. Please enlarge to 640 pixels for the next challenge so you can get a better judging of your photo.

Picture is out of focus and too small. I can 'see' the concept, but it didn't play well...

Very small image, would like to have seen it larger.......
04/13/2005 02:07:02 PM
picture is very small, hard to see detail. looks like it could be a nice shot.
04/13/2005 01:48:40 PM
So small and blurry...almost looks like a picture of a picture.
04/13/2005 01:07:22 PM
This looks like it could be an interesting image, but it is just too small to tell.
04/13/2005 12:55:41 PM
This looks like it might be a great shot, but it's too small to really tell. Also, it looks like you rotated it, but didn't crop out the background artifacts along the edge afterwards. I'd love to see a larger version of this.
